Research Associate

Will Bralower received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans. Will was a core contributor to the startup Tulane’s Tissue Engineering Micro Physiological Systems Laboratory, where he set up and developed the protocols for the fabrication space. He defended his thesis titled, “Design, Fabrication, and Reduction to Practice of Milliscale Membrane-Free Organ Chip Systems,” where he worked on developing robust, user friendly membrane free devices via SLA 3D printing and soft lithography. These devices were used for growing 3D vascularized stromal tissue and are the basis for ongoing cancer research studies subject for publication. Will’s expertise is in user interface design, platform validation, and new model development.
