Heidi Zamora holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California at Riverside. At Aracari, she has successfully delivered contract research projects for pharmaceutical companies to test toxicity and efficacy of biotherapeutics using Aracari’s proprietary vascularized microphysiological systems. As a graduate researcher at UC Riverside, she produced DNA fragments to create plasmids for biofuel production in Kluveromyces marxianus. She is also experienced in supporting the bioengineering team by performing hydroxyapatite synthesis, hydrogel fabrication, and CRISPR/Cas9 transfection.
