Jon Roberts


Jon Roberts is founder and head of Grenian Capital, which has been financing renewable energy and green infrastructure projects since 2011. For 30 years previously, Mr. Roberts originated, structured, and underwrote nontraditional risk transfer contracts at the intersection of insurance and the capital markets. He was a senior reinsurance executive at AIG, MetLife, founded AIG Re and was the founder and President of Enterprise Re, a reinsurer backed by Morgan Stanley. Since 2017 he has been a Director of The Center for Election Science, a national nonpartisan firm that researches and promotes voting method reforms. Mr. Roberts is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, the Casualty Actuarial Society, and holds an A.B. in mathematics from Harvard University.
